Rainbocorns Big Bow Surprise & Rainbocorns Sequin Surprise

I have opened many a blog review with the next line...but its true...so here goes...My kids bloomin love a surprise egg style toy. So when Zuru got in touch and asked if we would like to review the brand new Rainbocorns Big Bow Surprise and Rainbocorns Sequin Surprise, I knew that Elsie would love them as an early birthday gift!

Disclaimer: We were kindly gifted Rainbocorns in return for an honest review. All words, opinions and photos are my own.
Rainbocorns Big Bow Surprise is a HUGE gold egg complete with unicorn horn, huge 'Jo-Jo' style bow and reversible sequin reveal heart on the front, it really is an impressive sight, and you can see why kids are going crazy for them! With 3 Rainbocorns to collect, Bowie the Unicorn, Belle the Flamingocorn and Bobbi the Llammacorn the suspense filled the air!

It had already been decided that our new arrivals would be Elsie's as a part of an early birthday present, I have spoken before about how the kiddos don't just get given the toys we are sent, there has to be a reason, or they have to earn them...anyhow, I digress...My point is Elsie was absolutely desperate for Belle the Flamingocorn, which I mainly think was because Evie adores flamingos so so much, and Elsie loves to have something to wind up her siblings!

Turns out my prayers were answered and there would be no arguments in the Wilkinson household as she cracked open the egg and found Bobbi and a whole load of other surprises hiding inside, including hair bows, a fluffy slap band, 3 Bow-Bowcorn surprise eggs and much more (I won't ruin it by telling you all the secrets!) I do however, think that the statement of '25 surprises'is quite misleading because to me the Bow Bow eggs and the contents count as 1 surprise not 4 or 5. And also to me each bling bag counts as 1 surprise rather than each and every item inside the bag...but maybe that is me! (Sorry Zuru!) Saying that Elsie was more than happy with all of the surprises and kept saying 'there is so many things!!

Remember I mentioned about the huge bow and reversible sequin heart on front of the gold egg? Well they are usable too! The bow comes off for you to wear, and the sequin heart attaches to the front of the plushy Rainbocorn.

Priced at RRP £49.99, they are pretty pricey but are a great Christmas gift and I think they are good value, as a teddy that size would probably knock you back £20ish alone. Also I wish that the mini Bow-Bowcorn surprise eggs could be bought seperatly to collect (please someone correct me if I am wrong but I am unable to find them anywhere!)

If you are looking for something in a more affordable price bracket the Rainbocorns Sparkle Heart Surprise with an RRP of £13.00, (top tip, B&M have them for £8.99 if you are lucky enough to find them!) it makes the perfect birthday gift, stocking filler and is easy to save pocket money for.

There are 6 smaller Rainbocorns plushy to collect, Unicorn, Puppycorn, Flamingocorn, Llamacorn, Bunnycorn and Kittycorn. Each plushy comes with a peel to reveal heart with a fun icon hidden underneath a sparkly sticker.

Sparkle Heart Surprise also comes with a colour changing Boo-boocorn, and Rainbocorn poop, a thicker style foamy slime rather than the traditional erm slimey slime?!!? Unfortunately though the packaging the slime comes in doesn't reseal so you will need to find something to keep it in if you want to have more than one play.

Both Rainbocorns eggs have pros and cons, but Elsie loved them both and they both kept her happy and put a huge smile on her face, and that is what toys are for right? Effectively it doesn't really matter what I think the pros and cons are, what matters is 'do the kids like it' and the answer to that question is she blooming loved them! If these are on your kiddos wish list I guarantee they will love them!!

Avaiable from Smyths, Amazon, Argos, The Entertainer and all other good toy stores.
