Zuru Smashers EPIC Dino Egg - Is It Worth It?

If you are a long time reader you will know that my kids love a collectible, you will know that they love anything that is hidden and requires unboxing, so when Zuru asked us if they could send us the brand new Smashers EPIC Dino Egg I knew they would absolutely love it! And whats more, I wanted to know, with an RRP of £24.99 - is it worth the price? Read on to find out what we thought, and for your chance to win a £25 Smyths voucher.

DISCLAIMER: We were sent this bundle in return for a blog post, hosting a giveaway and some social media posts. All words, photos and opinions are our own.

The Smashers Epic Dino Egg made Jenson squeal in excitement as I handed it to him, we peeled off the plastic packaging, then he smashed the huge plastic egg on the floor...then came the ''ohhh coool...awesome...AMAZING!!''  comments as he grabbed the scissors and snipped into the dino egg yolk bag, which was full of amazing goodies!

Inside the egg yolk he found 1 Scratch Map, 6 Smash Eggs, 1 Digging Tool, putty, slime, fizzing 'lava' bath bomb and fossil rock. Luckily, the scratch map took away the choice of what to open first! And so we began our dino excavation to see which of the 3 smash-o-sauraus we would find...

We found it quite hard to get into the resealable bags that the slime and dino dirt came into and unfortunatly had to snip underneath the the seal, meaning we couldn't reuse the bags (luckily we had a couple of food bags hanging around meaning we could store them to play with again in the future.

I don't want to ruin too much, because heck whats the point in a GIANT surprise egg if you know what you are gonna get?

So, is it worth 25 of your good old English pounds?

YES! Yes! Yes!!

This kept Jenson quiet for so soooo long! Evie got involved as well, and since the initial opening it has been played with loads. The fact that you get putty, slime and kinetic sand that can be re-used as well as the fact that all of the eggs rebuild and resmash over and over again  means there is something for all 3 of the kids to play with over and over again.

If you don't fancy shelling out £25 then fear not, right now it is on offer at £19.99 at Smyths and honestly it will make a great Christmas gift to stash away until the big day, if that is still just a bit too much then the Dino Smashers Eggs start at just £7.99.

Suitable for children from 5 years, RRP £24.99.  You can find this range at Smyths, The Entertainer, Argos, Tesco, Asda, B&M, Sainsbury's and all the major retailers.
