Nanables | The Must Have Collectible Toy For 2019?

If you have been following me for a while you will know my kids LOVE a collectible toy! Whether that be LOL dolls, Hot Wheels, Tsums Tsums or Lego minifigures, my kids just love them! So when Jazwares got in touch and asked us if we would like to review the brand new must have collectible Nanables, I knew the kids would really enjoy trying them out and seeing what they were all about.

DISCLAIMER: We were gifted these, free of charge. In return for an honest review. All words, photos and opinions are our own.

The Nanables world consists of two themed lands to collect and explore, Sweetness Town and Rainbow Way. They are colourful, ultra-small (think 80's 90's Polly Pocket size) houses with two Nanos in each pack. Through each of the houses integrated viewer, you can peek inside each house for a peek of the colourful interior and a taste of what life is like for the Nanos! And using augmented reality the free app unlocks exclusive content, activities and games for each house, the more houses you collect, the more activities to enjoy! And whats more, each week there is a FREE house unlocked for you to explore!

We were kindly sent 6 of the 12 available houses and Evie could not wait to get into them. Evie was, off course, drawn immediately to the unicorn themed Sparkle Day Spa and the Donut Diner, and after we unpacked them all she ticked off the ones we had (and made plans to do lots of chores so that she could buy Rainbow Arcade and Cupcake Palace!)

As she waited for the app to download she peeked through the windows to see into the Nanable's world, she was a little disappointed that houses didn't open, but was happier once she realsied she could scan the houses via the app and explore Rainbow Way and Sweetness Town on my phone (unfortunately there isn't an app for her Amazon tablet).

I love sitting and watching the kids play with these types of toys, as they make them walk along and talk to each other in obscure accents. I love how a simple toy can bring with it some of the best imaginative play.  Jenson and Evie even managed to get on long enough to play nicely together with them for an hour, and they came up with a story where the ''haunted witchy Nanable'' was trying to curse the whole Nanables world!!

Once the app had downloaded we scanned our houses and expanded our Nanables world we got on with exploring the app and playing lots of games. With each house you add more games and features, so its the toy (and app that keep on giving!!)

Aimed at children aged 6-12 years old Nanables are available from all good toy stockists like Smyths, Argos, Amazon and more. With an RRP of just £4.99 they are easily collectible too. Easy for kids to save up for, cheap birthday gifts, and a nice incentive for a reward chart.
