Lilys Driftwood Bay Talking Soft Toys | Review

Its no secret that my monsters are big fans of kids TV. So when we were asked to review some of the brand new EXCLUSIVE  to Argos range of Lilys Driftwood Bay from Golden Bear Toys, we jumped at the chance!

In case you have never seen it, Lily’s Driftwood Bay, currently airing daily on Nick Jr, Netflix and Channel 5’s Milkshake, is based around the adventures of Lily; a six-year-old girl with an imagination big enough to create an entire island! Sweet and charming, but rough and tumble in equal measure, Lily lives an idyllic life with her Dad in their beach hut, where the sand dunes and sea provide the perfect backdrop for Lilys imagination. And I must say it is one of my personal favourites to sit an watch with the monsters!

We received the Talking Lily Soft Toy and the Talking Salty Dog Toy (both have an RRP of £9.99 each) and as soon as they arrived Elsie couldn't wait to get in the boxes and play! So we tore open the boxes and set about our own adventures (complete with dinosaur hat...of course!)

We had lots of half term fun with our Diftwood Bay companions, recreating Lilys adventures at home, and taking them on some of our adventures too, walks in the wood, scooter rides on the beach (where they got carried by me!) Salty Dog has been a permanent bed buddy for Jenson and Lily gets to take it turns between the girls each night. I would be lying if I say they don't argue over her...they do! As you can see from the photo below, Elsie is not very keen on sharing her new favourite toys!

The buttons to start the music and talking are both easy to find and easy to press, hurrah for no hassle toys with easy to press buttons, and as well as starting of the muisc the button also stops the music, much to Jenson's amusement, he had many a day annoying me with the on/off/on/off/on/off pressing of the buttons!!!

We were sent this item in return for this review. All opinions are my own.
