Cadburys Fudge Biscuits | Cooking With Kids

The monsters wanted to make cookies last weekend but we didn't have any chocolate chips (boo hoo) but I didn't want to let them down. So I had a think and a look in the treat cupboard and came up with these biscuits using the classic kids favourite...Cadburys Fudge!

What you need:

50g butter
50g sugar
100g plain flour
1 medium egg
2 Cadburys Fudge

*makes approx 9 biscuits

Beat the butter and sugar in a bowl until pale and creamy. Add the flour and egg and stir until dough forms, you may need to add a drop of milk to combine it all. Roll out the dough onto greaseproof paper and chill in the fridge. Whilst the dough is chilling, chop the fudge into small chunks. 

After about 30 minutes take out of the fridge and cut out your biscuit shapes sprinkle with the fudge pieces and push them slightly into the dough.

Bake in a preheated oven, gas mark 4, for around 10 minutes or until lightly golden. Allow to cool completely before tasting! The fudge will be melted and very hot! (Believe me!)
