DIY Toilet Roll Dragon Puppet #BostikBloggers

For this month's Bostik Bloggers we were given the task of dragon themed crafts, in time for St. Georges Day (April 23rd). We haven't really spoke about St Georges Day with the monsters so this was a nice way to introduce the legend of St George, the dragon slayer...

What you need:

3 toilet roll tubes
3 sheets of A4 green paper/card/felt/foam (we used 1 of each, you may choose to use 3 sheets of paper)
Red card/felt/paper (your choice)
Bostik White Glu
Bostik Blu Tack (or you could use a hot glue gun, ours was broken (boooo!!) and please be aware the Blu Tack could be a choking risk)
Strip of ribbon, string

OK so the puppet doesn't look like the best ever dragon BUT it served its purpose...look at little Elsie's face! And Evie and Jenson spent the next day playing dragon's, knights and princesses!  The imaginative play that has come from a simple DIY toy has been amazing! Now...I'm off to order a new hot glue gun. Thanks for reading, I would love to know what you think in the comments below.

Pin for later...
