Budget Family Meal Plan #31

WTF! (Where's The Food!)

Sorry, sorry, sorry! I took some time away and it taken me a while to get the laptop back out...but here I am. Meal plan thirty one. There is also a grocery haul, although not for this weeks meals (sorry!) over on YouTube so do pop over and give that a watch to (leave me a comment on YouTube and let me know you came from here!

Saturday: Chicken Enchiladas

A family fave, we are busy all afternoon and wont be home until early evening, so I will pop the filling in the slow cooker and just wrap/bake etc when we get back in.

Sunday: Leek and mushroom puff pie with mash, peas, and broccoli.

Again, I will pop the filling in the slow cooker. Because I won't lie after a lazy Sunday afternoon I can never be bothered to cook! Using this hairy bikers recipe but will be taking out the chicken and ham and replacing with extra leeks and some mushrooms.

Monday: Bacon sandwiches, hash browns and beans

Something quick and easy for a Monday night, football night!

Tuesday: Slow cooker 5 a day veggie tagine with fruity cous cous and pitta breads.

Another family fave, you can find the recipe here. But this is a great recipe to use up any veg you have hanging around.

Wednesday: Tuna pasta bake and garlic bread

We haven't had pasta for ages! I miss pasta...so a huge dish of cheesy topped pasta is called for! And what would a pasta bake be without garlic bread!!

Thursday: BBQ sausages with potato wedges and corn on the cob

Now I don't know about you but every house has a fussy one right? Now usually that fussy one is one of the kiddos but oh no....in my house its Dean (husband) but this is one of his fave meals so, being the good wife I am I thought I'd treat him to his fave this week!

Friday: Pitta/bagel pizzas

The kids love making their own pizzas on a Friday and making them on pitta breads and bagels makes it so much quicker for a busy Friday night.
