Crunch and Crisp French Toast

If you have followed me for a while you will know my mini monsters love a weekend breakfast treat and this brunch is most definitely a treat that they love! Cornflakes are the key to the crunch in this amazing - try it this weekend - french toast recipe!




What you need:

2 1/2 cups cornflakes
4 slices of thick white bread
3 Eggs
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/3 cup milk
butter for frying
Your choice of toppings

In a shallow dish mix the eggs, milk, cinnamon, and vanilla.
Crush the corn flakes and spread them into another shallow dish.
Dip the bread into the egg mixture and then press gently into the crushed corn flakes, flipping to coat both sides.
Melt some butter in a frying pan, once melted add the bread and cook for a few minutes each side.
Serve with your favorite syrup and fruit!
