The Snowman Tour LIVE

So,  I just saw a meme on Facebook, 14 Mondays until Christmas (as I type this its Monday 11th September),quite fitting because I want to talk about Christmas! One of our Christmas traditions is to sit and watch the Snowman as a family. Something I have done since I was small myself. So when I got an email from Carrot Productions inviting me to The Snowman LIVE this Christmas, I just had to tell you about it...

2017 marks the shows is the Fifth annivesary  and over the years it has regularly featured in national papers’ ‘Top things to do at Christmas’ lists. This December they are spreading the Christmas joy across the Midlands and the North with a record- breaking 46 performances over the Christmas period.  And amongst the 15 venues being visited by the production includes seven cathedrals - Chester, Coventry, York, Worcester, Lichfield, Liverpool and Durham -adding stunning surroundings to the whole experience.

The Snowman tour brings the magic of the Christmas family faviourite to life, by showing the classic film on a big screen accompanied by a professional orchestra and a young local soloist singing and playing the original score live. There will also be a visit from the Snowman himself! I mean could any little one resist!

And that is not all, after the main event, the show will continue with a second short animated film. This film varies from venue to venue. It could be Cinderella, or The Nutcracker, or brand new for 2017 is an exclusive animated film of the award-winning book The Bear and the Piano by David Litchfield. With Joanna Lumley narrating and a beautiful accompanying score this enchanting creation looks set to become a new family favourite for the next generation.

It may only be September, but as I said in my opening, with less than 14 Mondays until the Christmas season starts tickets for The Snowman tour are sure to sell out quick! Tickets are on sale now and you can check out your nearest venue any check ticket availablity here. Be quick one venue is already sold out, with others not too far behind!

Disclaimer: In return for this post I have received tickets to see the show.
