Thrifty But Stylish Fashion Finds For Kids #8 | What My Kid Wore Wednesday

Welcome back guys! Sorry I have been so up and down with posting our outfits, this summer has been cray! I love linking up to the What My Kid Wore Wednesday linky (if you love kids fashion go check it out!) and I have really missed linking up, can you believe it was about a month ago since  last posted about kids fashion! Anyways enough babble from me, lets get on with the show...

So I have mentioned in previous posts about how I love to bargain shop, hunting around charity shops for goodies to fill our the kids wardrobes, one of my favourite places to go is Oxfam, our local store has so many brand new and never worn seconds and ex samples from Marks and Spencers (including school uniform and underwear) and have recently started stocking TU from Sainsburys. Its all so so cheap and it flies out the shop as quickly as it goes on the rail! This weekend we were walking by and we spotted some mens Marvel tshirts in the window and actually went in to grab some for the hubby...but my little legs went a wandering and I soon clapped eyes on the kids section across the shop, rails getting filled with brand new and awesome clothing, and the sign above, all items £1.99, made it so I couldn't walk away! I was there at just the right time, and grabbed these cute jackets for the kids. I had to fluke it with sizes, I didn't have the kids with me and as usually they don't have any tags in, it was a case of holding them up and guessing if they would fit!

Luckily for me, they did!

How cute is this little baseball style jacket I picked up for Elsie? I absolutely adore the embroidery on the back and love even more that pink and girly has been dumped for blue and red! It completely screams Elsie and she hasn't taken it off since she saw it!

For Evie, I chose this pink (off course) ribbed hoodie, its quite thick and perfect for evening walks along the beach, especially when it can get quite blustery! And The hood is a perfect size, does anyone else find hoods on kids clothes really small?

Have you checked out Oxfam and the range of ex store and samples yet? Will you check them out or are charity shops not for you?

  1. I'm definitely going to get into the habit of charity shopping more! So many absolute treasures to be found! Love both these little jackets. The baseball one is so much fun with all the embroidery and I love the look of the texture of the Pink one. Great finds as always lovey and thank you for linking up!! #WMKWW
