Recipe. Valentines Tortilla Chips

I do love a good excuse to get all soppy and have a date night at home! So with Valentines around the corner I have been thinking about what I can make for next weeks Valentines Day. I came up with these yummy Valentines inspired tortilla chips.  Love heart shaped and a perfect starter for an at home Valentines meal, failing that the perfect snack for kids! (Who, may I add loved these and gobbled them up faster than I could make them!)

Valentines and date night go hand in hand right? These tortilla chips and home made salsa make for the perfect starter that is quick to make and will mean you aren't hanging around in the kitchen all night, they bake in just 10 minutes and, whats more, you can flavour them any way you like. We went for a hot and spicy chilli and paprika but you could easily swap that for lightly salted or just plain if that is more to your taste.

What you need:
(For the chips)
Tortilla wraps
Love heart cutter
Paprika
Chilli oil spray

(For the salsa)
2 tomatoes
1/2 red pepper
2 Spring onion
2 tbsp lime juice
2/3 sprigs of fresh coriander
1 garlic clove (pressed)

This is so easy I can't really call it a recipe, cut out the chips using the cutter on the wraps, lay them on a baking tray, spray with chilli oil and sprinkle with paprika, bake in an oven (gas mark 6) for 10 minutes, turning and sprinkling with more paprika half way through.

Whilst they bake chop up all of the salsa ingredients, but in a bowl, add lime juice an combine well before serving.
