We were sent; the Bob The Builder Safety Set (RRP £14.99) (a dress up set which included a hard hat, Bob's shirt, a mobile phone and a spanner) a Bob The Builder Tool Bag (RRP £12.99) (a back pack filled with an electric drill, a hammer, a saw and a spanner) Bob The Builder Chainsaw (RRP £17.99), Bob The Builder Jigsaw (RRP £12.99) and finally the Bob The Builder Work Bench (RRP £44.99) which includes a hammer, a spanner, a screwdriver, a saw, nuts and bolts and a working clamp.
Elsie started off playing with the safety set, the tool bag and the jig saw as I set about putting the bench together, after I emptied the box I will admit it looks like an awful lot of pieces and I did have a mini panic that Elsie would lose her sh*t and want to play before I had managed to get it together, but it wasn't really, especially as there are clear instructions in the box (phew!!) and Elsie was able to help me, as the pieces fit together using the nuts and bolts from the play set!
As soon as the workbench was put together Elsie set about fixing everything in sight! And with the hammer, off course...the door? Fixed! My leg...apparently fixed although I am not so sure because man that hammer hit hurt!
She then set about building something with the construction pieces included and although my impatient little builder needed some help at first she soon got the knack an was building this digger, or so she told me this is what it was, after she had finished her buidling work she rang up Bob to tell him she was done,
The chainsaw and jigsaw both make fun, 'real' sounds and she enjoyed playing pretend with her new collection of Bob the Builder Toys, it would make a great present for any budding Bob and Wendy fan.
