Googly Eyes | Review

I am always on the lookout for things we can do all together after school, my monsters get easily bore and much prefer to have games and activities rather than 'just play'. When I heard about University Games 'Googly Eyes' I knew it was a game we could all enjoy!

Googly Eyes is a brand new super fun drawing game, you put on the  vision-altering google eye glasses and start to draw while your team tries to guess what you’re drawing. Googly Eyes is a fun game that lets players of different ages and skill levels compete on equal terms, since the goggles make it challenging for everyone!

Inside the box you will find:

The special glasses, with 3 types of lenses (colour coded for easy, medium and hard)
Timer
Paper pad and penicil
Board
Counters and dice
Challenge cards

We played slightly different to the rule, to enable the younger ones to play, so me and Ellie did the drawing and the mini monsters had to guess what we were drawing (the normal way to play is to split into teams of 2 or more, each team taking it in turns to draw with one player doing the drawing while their team mates guess what the picture is)  against the clock.

Drawing with the glasses on was certainly difficult and I struggles at some point to even see where the paper pad was and ended up scrabbling around on the table as the timer counted down!

We had so much fun playing this game, it was a great way to spend some time together, everyone loved the funny glasses  but everyone refused to have their photo taken in them...so you will have to make do with a photo of me wearing them!

This would be a great family game at Christmas and family parties.

Googly Eyes has an RRP of £19.99, but currently on offer on Amazon for just £12.74.

We were sent this item in return for this review. All opinions are my own.
