Chad Valley Remote Control Excavator Review

If you saw my last post you will know we are very excited to announce that we are on the brand new Chad Valley Play Panel,  this month our play package included this awesome Remote Control Excavator (RRP £29.99, currently £23.99).

The Chad Valley Remote Control Excavator is a massive 70cm remote control with very large digger arm and working scoop, it also features light-up effects and heavy duty construction sounds.

The remote control (which is unfortunately attached to the excavator via a wire) functions the excavator to move forward back, left and right movement of the independent caterpillar tracks. With separate buttons to control the digger arm and the rotating cabin.

The monsters absolutely love this toy! I loved that it just came out of the box and it was ready to play with, obliviously after we added batteries...but what I mean is we didn't have to fix bits together. We loved the little details, like the mud splashed up the sides. We have played in the garden 'digging' leaves (I managed to talk them out of taking the brand new toy in the mud...mean Mummy!) and I got talked into letting them take it up the beach next week when we are watching the diggers dig up the beach for the beach racing!

Actual size: H34, W63, L24cm. Batteries required: 6 x AA (not included). Recommended for 3 years and over.

Disclaimer: We were sent this toy as part of the Chad Valley Play Panel, all images, thoughts and opinions are our own. Find out more about the play panel by clicking the image link in my sidebar.
