The website is set up simply, with easy to navigate sections from Key Stage 1 through to GCSE level with each learning level having a large selection of subjects and an extensive range of quizzes. Me and Ellie sat together this morning and went against each other in a few subjects...let's just say she clearly doesn't get her brains from me!! She really enjoyed the maths section (even getting excited about algebra!) and she whizzed through the spelling section! And with the quizzes written by teachers you know that you are effectively quizzing your children on what they are actually learning.
You can play a handful of the quizzes 'for free' with a subscription access to all of the quizzes costing £7.50 a month and can be cancelled at any time. Education Quizzes is conscious of the fact that not every parent can afford the £7.50 monthly subscription to the site and that is the reason they want us as parents to promote the idea to schools. In essence, a school can pay Education Quizzes on behalf of the students and benefit from greatly reduced costs. Depending on the number of students at a school, it is possible for them to sign-up students for as little as £2.00 per year. For more information see: http://www.educationquizzes.com/schools-uk/ so why not mention it to your child's teacher next time you are chatting with them.
