DIY Jungle Animal Headbands #BostikBloggers

I don't know about you but my monsters love dressing up! They love having a rifle through the box and becoming someone else, or indeed something else! One thing the monsters dressing up box is missing is jungle animals so as this month's Bostik Bloggers theme is 'Jungle' I thought I would rectify that and make some quick an easy jungle animal headbands.

These are so easy to make, they are perfect for a last minute craft, perfect for an animal parade! We also played a hunt the animal hide and seek in the trees (which we pretended was the jungle!) and used our Duct Tape Binoculars to hunt for each other!  They had so much fun it was perfect for a boring Sunday afternoon!

To  make your own set of jungle animal headbands you will need:

Alice bands
Animal print card
Bostik Glu Dots
Scissors
Pencil

Now comes the part where I confuse you with my instruction, thank goodness for photos!...

Because you don't have to wait for the Bostik Glu Dots to dry your DIY animal headbands are ready to wear and play with immediately! Although be prepared they are very realistic!!! (note my hint of sarcasm!!)

  2. Great fun, I do love this idea, I might have to try farmyard animals! In fact I may do this then mix up who wears which one the children wear and get them playing a version of "Guess who / charades to see if they can work out who they are. Thanks for the inspiration! Do join me for Trash 2 Treasure too. #ToddlerApprovedTuesday

  3. These are great, something else i'll be pinning! We go to a festival in a few weeks where they have a carnival theme fancy dress on the Saturday and these look like they could form part of the outfit. (potty Adventures) #ToddlerApprovedTuesday

  4. This is so fun. And I love Glu Dots. They're so easy. I just did a project with my toddler and it would have been much messier without them. I love how the headband approach could easily be used to make a crown or other headdress. Thanks for sharing!
