Butterfly Wall Hanging

We are always making bits and bobs, I'm not sure why I am stating this because, of course, you already know this. But what you probably don't know is that once we have made something it usually gets put in a scrapbook or our project box never to be seen again! These multi-coloured butterflies are perfect for brightening up a blank wall and they are easily displayed using a stick and some yarn too!

This wall hanging has really brightened up our teeny tiny hallway. And the monsters have enjoyed showing every single person that comes into our house, or even knocks at the door, their work of art!

To make a wall hanging of your own you will need;

Pegs
Washi tape
Tissue paper
Bostik Glu Dots
Pipe Cleaners
Stick
Wool

You can find a photo tutorial just below, if you try it be sure to share your photos on our Facebook page, we would love to see your creations!

  1. Genius! How you come up with all these brilliant ideas, I'll never know! Love that they're easy enough for them to do with little help and yet look so effective. So I've just seen a Star Wars post for my Star Wars nut and now got this to do with the other one, who is mad about butterflies. Enjoying being back checking out everyones posts. #ToddlerApprovedTuesday

  2. Never thought of using washi tape on pegs before. I shall no longer have dull pegs :)
