5 Under £5. March

I can not believe we are in March already! I also can't believe that I haven't really bought a lot lately! So this months 5 under £5 may be a little random but still here it is...

Just lately the monsters have gone CRAZY for baking! Especially decorating cupcakes! But the fact is I just don't always have time to bake from scratch, which is when I am grateful for things like these decorate at home fairy cakes from Morrisons, they are just 92p..a total bargain for a bit of peace and quiet afterschool!

I'm also a little bit in love with things that make my life easier with cookery kids like pre-bought icing already in a tube! This pink icing was from Poundland and you get a choice of 4 nozzles in the pack too. They ice around 6 cakes. We also love these sugar paper flowers (79p for a box of 6 from Home Bargains), they come in a range of colours and I think they make the perfect easy to make gift for Nannas on Mothers Day!

Talking of cake...

The lovely people over at Co-Op sent me a Mothers Day hamper and it contained this totally scrumptious rose cake £5 in store until 15/03/16). It is really delicious, the sponge is just right and the buttercream topping is divine!

I am yet to meet a little girl who doesn't love a bit of sparkle and my girls are no different, this super glittery headband was just £1 in the Clares Accessories sale!

And last but not least, I picked up some of these mini casserole dishes in Poundland, I thought they were perfect for our 5-minute fudgy banana bread! What do you think?

What have you been buying this month? Let me know in the comments below...

  2. Oh, I do love a Poundland bargain. And those casserole dishes are super cute. I adore that hair band. I am addicted to buying Little Miss H hair accessories and I might have to get this for her. She will love it. Do you think at 37 I am too old to wear one in my hair too? #FiveUnder5. Hugs Lucy xxxx
