Rainbow Shower Gel Sensory Play and Process Art

I was wandering around the house trying to find some thing for a rainbow themed afterschool activity, when I reachd the bathroom and the wonderful array of coloured soaps and shower gels we have! I decided they would be great on top of some wallpaper lining paper to swish and swirl and mix colours together...

What you need:

coloured shower gels/soaps etc
wallpaper lining
cling film (I used this to protect our table, and for easy clean up!)

We talked about the colours as we squirted them onto the paper and then I let the monsters free...

At first they poked at it, but it didnt take long for them to get stuck in! Elsie, of course was first to get her hands in, rubbing it all over the paper. Followed by Jenson, who rubbed it all up his arm...he loves the sensory experience of these activities (that or he just loves to get himself in a mess!) and Evie, ever the wary one, stuck with just dragging her fingers through it and making patterns!

Pin for later...
