Review. Brewers Fayre. The Haven, Grimsby, Lincolnshire.

KA couple of weekends ago we were very lucky to be invited to Brewer Fayre 'The Haven' in Grimsby to try out the new Dennis the Menace themed play area, this was very exciting for the monsters as they have recently started watching the cartoon on Netflix!

We arrived nice and early to The Haven (mainly because we are so rubbish at finding places and always get lost!) and we were the first to be greeted by the lovely staff, and also first to find out that due to some sort of mix up they weren't expecting us, after a little bit of a panic the manager quickly accommodated us and allowed us to enjoy free play and also accommodated our meals too. He really was one of the best managers I have ever come across he wasn't rude once and he dealt with the problems quickly, efficiently and very professionally.

Although at first the soft play looked pretty small to other play areas we have visited it actually turned out to be quiet a positive, we could see the monsters easily and locate them fast when a certain little madam (*cough-ELSIE-cough*) got into the 'big kids' area and got stuck in the twirly tunnel slide! It was quite a funny moment to find her just sat screaming in the middle of a slide! Not the screaming part, of course but the sight of me trying to climb up a slippy slide to get to her!!

Jenson enjoyed the monkey bars the most and by the end of our visit he had perfected jumping from the stepping stones to reach them!

Elsie enjoyed the toddler area, and the Little Tykes Cosy Coupe's that were dotted around, that is, of course when she wasn't getting into trouble in the bigger area!!

Ellie had a play and also enjoyed the use of free WiFi to get her half hourly fix of You Tube!

With plenty of stuffs to swing from, slide down, crawl through, squeeze through, hang from there was plenty to keep everyone happy!

Then it was dinner time! What I loved the most was that the children's menu had photo's so the little monsters could easily chose what they wanted to eat!

The food was nice food and reasonably priced, good pub grub at pub grub prices. In all we had a great morning and all went home exhausted! We would go again if we were in the area and certainly recommend giving you closest Brewers Fayre a try!

Before you go check out our little video montage below...

Can I also add, I know there are a lack of photos of Evie, this is mainly because she was so busy playing and any photo of her is nothing but a blur, not because Jenson and Elsie are my favourite children (which I did hear someone make a remark about ''wait a minute, shes taking photo's of her favourite child'', I took it as a joke at the time, lets hope it was!!)

Disclaimer: We were given free play and free meals in return for an honest review.
