Quick Craft with Jenson. Not-So-Noisy Shakers

Sooooo...Jenson's new favourite thing is making craft videos for our You tube channel so this half term we have been a little busy making lots of crafty video's to share with you! Todays craft is perfect mainly because its a shaker...kids love shakers BUT its not actually as annoying as you usual shakers because we have used straws instead of rice or pasta! Let us know what you think we would love it if you gave us a thumbs up and subscribed!

In case you missed it here's what you need:

Toilet Roll Tube
2 bottle top lids (we used the ones from baby/toddler milk perfect fit!)
Straws
Scissors
Stickers (to decorate)

Seal one end with a bottle top...

Cut some straws...

Fill tube with straws...

Close of with the other bottle top...

Decorate...

Tah Dah!

  2. Oh this is great - I have so many empty toilet rolls I don't know what to do with them! And bottle lids. Maybe a good one now that my toddler appears to be dropping his nap.....#ToddlerApprovedTuesday

  5. Aww, that was just too cute to watch! I love how mad he goes at the end when you tell him to give it a shake. Great idea, much better than using rice or something that with the cardboard tubes; I could foresee some terrible rice explosions. Ray xx lukeosaurusandme.co.uk

  8. Excellent idea! So much better using bottle caps than paper and straws too! We have one we made a Woodcraft Folk that has paper and fabric ends and I'm afraid to let O use it inside in case of rice and lentil explosions! Love how happy he looks with it too! :) xx

  9. These sound like a great idea. Izzy is always wanting to play music and make a noise so this would be a nice not-so-noisy compromise!
