5 Ideas For...Cereal Box Crafts For Kids!

If there are 2 things we have an abundance of its cereal boxes and toilet rolls! You see I have an admission to make...left over food that could be made into another meal, socks with holes that could be stitched? They all get thrown away BUT the actual rubbish like boxes and tubes and stuffs like that, well I keep them because they come in useful you see!

1. First Threading Activity Boards

We made these as Mothers Day gifts for the monsters Nanny's, love hearts and bookmarks. We have since made a lot more and popped them in busy bags to keep the monsters busy!

2. Monster Face Hand Puppets

We used baby food boxes for these but you could always use those miniature cereal boxes or even just use a normal cereal box..it will just be a bigger monster!

3. Home made Puzzles over at Happy Hooligans.

Cut the front from a cereal box and dependent on child's ability depends on how you cut it...a few strips? Or lots of jigsaw-ry type pieces?

4. This is a really rubbish picture BUT it was one of the monsters fave things to play with and make!

Literally nothing but a cereal box covered (keeping the opening free to open) in some snazzy sticky back plastic stuff with some hole cut out big enough to slot in painted toilet roll tubes and offered along side lots of multi coloured pom poms to sort into the designated colour tubes!

5. Letter Box Craft from Baker Ross.
