Spring Time Bucket List 2015

Its the return of our bucket list! Yey! We just (literally as I typed this!) sat as a family and came up with some Spring time activities we can enjoy together this Spring.

Obviously NO spring bucket list is complete without a visit to the farm! We are hoping that this year we will make it to Rand Farm (near Lincoln) and get to feed the lambs!

Last years Easter Egg Hunt was a massive success so we will be doing it again at home OR taking a trip out as one of the local attractions are hosting one in collab with the local Sure Start centre.

A nature walk always goes down well with the monsters, we are thinking maybe Snipe Dales.

A mini beast hunt, probably on the day we go on a nature walk, or a bug hunt is always as simple to do in the garden on a boring weekend.

We have been wanting a veg patch for a few years...could 2015 be the year we tick this off our bucket list!!

Pond dipping...again will probably be on our nature walk. Jenson is excited to find tadpoles so fingers crossed!!

Play hide and seek in the woods...can't say I'm very keen on this one so we might 'forget' this one!

Fly a kite, hopefully a bigger success than previous years, as it turns out there's some skill required that I don't have!

I promised Ellie a butterfly garden after she read Jacqueline Wilson's The Butterfly Club.

Last year's bonnets were a pretty mess so this year we will try our hand at baskets instead!

What are your top Spring Time activities? Leave us a comment below, we would love to hear from you.

  7. Great activities! Hide and seek in the woods is fun too though, just give them a boundary area that they can't go any further. Or even better they all hide, you stand at the front, turn your back for 5 seconds and they have to move forwards quickly and hide again before you turn back round after the 5 seconds. If you can see them they're out, the aim of the game is for them to get back to you when you're back is turned. Great game to make sure they come back, but can still hide! Going to make a list for us too I think! :) x
