Review. Animals Jigsaw and Sticker Book from Little Tiger Press.

Have you heard of the My Little World series from Little Tiger Press? They are a series of books introducing young children to the world around them and perfect for learning through play (which I love!). One of the latest titles is this jigsaw and sticker book Animals. Illustrated by the fabulous Fhiona Galloway (who is becoming one of my favourite children's illustrators lately, her images are perfect for little ones!)

Aimed at children 3-5 Animals consists of a jigsaw puzzle and sticker book...

The puzzle, a picture of a zoo, consists of 36 large chunky pieces...

the picture to follow is on the back of the box...

Although I personally think it is a bit small for little eyes and it could do with filling the box really (but maybe that's me being fussy!)...

The sticker book consists of 16 wipe clean pages and plenty of stickers to keep little minds busy and to keep arguements at bay!! The pages are bright and the images clear, just what I have come to expect from illustrator Fhiona Galloway.

And questions on each page to get monsters brains-a-ticking!

What did the monsters think?

Jenson really enjoyed fixing the puzzle together, he was very independent and was able to complete it with little help...well some help was needed to keep Elsie the tornado away!

After Jenson completed the puzzle Evie enjoyed searching for all the animals in the zoo and we played counting games, and I asked lots of questions then when we were done we packed away the puzzle in the box and sat to do the stickers together.

What did I think?

I really enjoyed watching my Mr Independent at work with this puzzle, the way he problem solved and got the job done was so cute to watch. Also later in the week myself and Evie sat together to play whilst Jenson was at pre-school, and although she wasn't quite able to complete it (the lure of her dolly in the pram took her away!) she did enjoy learning names to animals she didn't know before.
