DIY Pom Pom Tutu

I saw a really cute tutu with pom pom trim on Pinterest BUT as I don't own a sewing machine and I'm not a confident seamstress I decided to cheat a little and made this pom pom filled tutu instead!!

What you need:
dressing up tutu (I got this one from Poundland! Bargain!!)
pom-poms
ribbon
needle and thread

This tutu from Poundland was perfect for this craft, it had 2 layers of netting perfect for what I wanted!

To start I folded the waistband down ad stitched some ribbon to the waistband to pretty it up! I used a nice pale pink....

Then pull the 2 layers apart and chuck in your pom poms (I used shop bought pom pom's)...

Then sew the edges together (remember if your hand stitching a close stitch is needed else the small pom poms will fall out!!)

The finished product will (hopefully) look something like this:

Pin for later...
